Rise-in Stars Dance Academy is a school that welcomes any student between the ages of 11-19 Years, whether they just have a interest in learning something new or have a strong interest in dance. All abilities are welcome so do not be worried that you won't fit in

The main form of dance studied is Street Dance (the type of dancing you would see in a music video), although sometimes more theatrical styles will be used.

The sessions last for one and a half hours split into three sessions. The first fifteen minutes is a warm-up, the second is where students will learn new routines or rehearse old ones and the last ten minutes will be spent warming down.

During classes students should be wearing comfortable loose clothing and have practical comfortable shoes i.e. trainers or jazz shoes. Students should not be wearing jewelry during class and must bring a refreshing drink with them as there are none available at the Village Hall.

The classes will be held on a Tuesday night at Bitteswell Village Hall, Manor Road, Bitteswell (see Where We Are) from 5.00pm - 6.30pm. Each session costs £3.00 and is invoiced every 4 weeks. First lesson is free.

This school aims to teach young people new and exciting dance moves. It also helps to build their confidence and people skills and allows them to mix with other people of the same age with the same interests as them.
